Lang Bian Mountains
Lang Bian Mountains is located in Lac Duong District, Lam Dong Province; 12km north of center Dalat. Lang Bian Mountains are an ideal place for mountain climbing, paragliding, trekking or studying flora and rare bird species.
Lang Bian Mountain (also called Lam Vien Mountain) has an altitude from 2100m to 2400m. The hike up to the top of the mountain, from where the views are truly spectacular, takes three to four hours from the Lat village. The path is easily recognisable as a red gash in the green mountainside.
For the less energetic, you can take a jeep to the top of Langbiang. It’s a nice experience to go up Langbiang mountain by Jeep along the winding road. The views of the valley below are breathtaking.
A legend about Langbiang is a tragic love story between a Klang boy and a Hbiang girl, as a Romeo and Juliet style romance story.
Datanla Waterfall
Datanla waterfall was recognized as a Cultural historical heritage in 1998. Located beside national road 20th, 5 km from downtown of Dalat. Datanla waterfall also has a lot of legend about it. The Datanla name means water under the leaves, name that explains the orgin of the falls, based on three Vietnamese legends.
Datanla has the roller coaster system, one of the place is regarded as the unique one in Dalat city. It took 10-15 minutes to go to on foot but now it takes only 2 minutes to go up and down the falls.
Xuan Huong Lake
Xuan Huong Lake has an area of 32ha and the average depth of 1.5m. It is located on an elevation of 1,478m above sea level and it is considered as the heart of Dalat.
Around the lake and the pine hill are the green lawns stretching. Walking along Xuan Huong Lake, you can go to Cu Hill, Yersin Park, and flower Garden of City. You can paddle on the lake watching the sightseeing, or rent the bikes to run along the lake, or stroll in the balmy air of Xuan Huong Lake.
In the early morning and at dusk is the most beautiful time of Xuan Huong Lake. The water of the lake is as a clear mirror is outlined in the city. The wind blows gently in the airy space. Many couples like to stroll around the lake, many friends and families prefer to Xuan Huong Lake to get relaxed and comfortable feeling.
